Sold in 2008 for a European owner and finished in 2010, IPHARRA has been designed to perform exclusive charters with Sunreef Yachts Charter as her central agency, www.sunreef-charter.com. IPHARRA’s sailing autonomy of one month will enable her to perform round-the-world charter cruises in the Caribbean this Winter/Spring 2011.

She is the biggest ever luxury yacht built in Poland and one of the biggest cruising catamarans of the world. She is also the FIRST sailing catamaran in the world from a Double Deck line, and the second biggest sloop rigged catamaran of the world.

Outdoors:

The huge outdoor space represents an important area of the yacht which is one of the best assets of large cruising catamarans. Passengers have a choice of staying in the shade of the 50m2 cockpit or can enjoy sunbathing on the 50m² flybridge and bow nets. In the cockpit, there is a long sofa and table to ensure comfortable alfresco dining and relaxing moments for 10-12 guests. The wide sofa covers the tender garage and provides a rest area in the shade after an active day spent in the sun. In the evening, a “starry sky” effect will be ensured thanks to the colourful yet discrete LED lights in the ceiling. On the flybridge, accessible via a set of spiral stairs from the cockpit, the main navigation station is positioned in the centre; all sails manoeuvring can be easily done from here thanks to hydraulic winches, bow thrusters and magic trim installed by the mast. A spacious captain seat for three faces the navigation station and the carbon steering wheel. The fly is supplied with a fully equipped bar and dining area for twelve people along with deck chairs to relax while sunbathing. As for entertainment, the fly is connected to a Bose hi-fi system from the saloon with 2 speakers. To fully appreciate ideal charter vacations, the yacht has a full selection of water toys such Kneeboard, Waterskis, Sailing Laser Vago, 2 Electric seabobs, 8 diving equipments, 1 kayak and Snorkelling gear. Two tenders are available for use – the main one of 5.2 m is stocked on the aft launching platform and the second one is hidden in the dinghy garage under the sofa in the cockpit. Every charter guest will also have its own personal basket to store all useful things such as sun blocker, towel, sunglasses, books, etc. during charter. This will prevent eventual loss, especially during a large party charter. In the saloon there is also a special board to stick guests photos during corporate or school charters, which will allow to all participants to get to know better their co-charterers and create more intimate ambiance during the trip.

Indoors:

When entering from the cockpit, the main level is divided into two parts. On the left, there is a stylish living room in the forward section with a day kitchenette and bar by the cockpit, while on the right is the owner cabin.

The living room is furnished with a sofa and coffee table, two poufs and storage cabinets as well as a corner bar divided from the living room by an original “island” cabinet comprising a multimedia entertainment system of the highest quality composed of 40′ LCD television, DVD player and Bose hi-fi system. The bar is equipped with small fridge, ice maker, coffee machine and wine cellar. This level enjoys good visibility thanks to wide side windows. The impression of spaciousness is doubled by the horizontal mirrors installed alongside all the walls. The final touch is given by indirect, side-lights which create an atmosphere of intimacy for the guests during the evenings.

The Owner’s suite is furnished with a centrally positioned King size bed facing large side windows, low bed night tables, many bookcases, full size 3-part wardrobe made of the wood ajouré – hemstitched, which gives a light and delicate touch to the entire composition and an elegant vanity corner with a pouf. A small fridge is smartly located by the owner’s bed for easy reaching of the last cold drink of the evening. A comfortable mattress for two is placed along the windows to enjoy the view while relaxing in the chilly interiors. The suite includes a private en-suite bathroom with teak floor, stylish shower tube featuring a massage option as well as large mirrors intimately highlighted by a light hose.

Three steps down the main deck, on the lower level (double deck), is a beam wide helm station and dining area. The stunning panorama can be enjoyed while navigating, as the big, panoramic windows covers the entire forward section on this level. The helm station is centrally positioned and comprises full Raymarine and Sailor navigation and satellite communication system as well as all measuring and control equipment. On the right there is high conference table/chart table with display screen purpose-installed for business meetings and video conferences. The opposite side of the lower deck is occupied by a dining table for 10-12.

Down the port side hull form the navigation station there is access to two double cabins in the midships and the bow section featuring twin beds, ample storage with shelves and en-suite bathrooms. The cabin is beautifully illuminated by natural light coming from generous six-parted hull windows.

The aft part of the port side hull is accessible directly from the main deck and features two VIP cabins comprising a big double bed (convertible in two twins), one foldable Pullman bed, and private bathrooms with teak floor, small desk, large wardrobes and bookshelves as well as six-parted hull windows for best luminosity. All cabins are provided with light dimmers and an intelligent light control system combining wired installation with wireless control panels, NAVYBUS by Navylec.

The starboard hull is dedicated to the crew so that they can be independent and not disturb the guests and owner during their stay on board. The captain cabin, at the back of this hull, has a double bed and is equipped with cabinets and wardrobes. The three other crew members are installed in the front of the hull in two separate cabins.

In the midships section, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a 4-burner induction kitchen, gas oven, electric oven with grill function, extractor fan, side-by-side full size fridge and freezer, microwave, trash compactor, wine cellar, ice maker, large “industrial” dishwasher and two-part sink as well as the crew saloon featuring a dining table, seating, TV and laundry. Extended storage space is also located in this area. The main galley is provided with six part hull windows for best luminosity and nice work conditions for the chef while preparing meals.

Drinking water – All drinking water on board comes from watermakers. That is why there is no need to store tons of mineral water on board during long crossings. It’s eco friendly and lighter!

Hull characteristics:

The aluminium custom-made IPHARRA superyacht was designed to comfortably accommodate up to 18 people (when Pullman beds are used) on board during long charter trips, therefore the spacious hulls have a very large fuel and storage for long cruising on the open waters. As for their aesthetic look, they are streamlined and comprise of 4 sets of 6-parted hull windows on each hull guaranteeing great visibility from all cabins and common areas. Each hull converts in the aft into a large swimming platform providing easy access to water. The depth of the boat is practically insignificant for a catamaran of this size (max. 2.5m) which will enable the guests to get really close to the beach and to have an unlimited choice of mooring areas and marinas.

The height of the wet deck has been designed for the catamaran to be able to sail in bad sea conditions with little wave slamming. The bow of the boat has an angle of 10° and a slight tulip shape so that it will avoid heavy bow diving in bad conditions. Again, everything has been done to ensure maximum sailing comfort even in the most challenging sea conditions.

Aft on each hull engine room and steering compartment are located.

The boat is Bureau Veritas classified and build under the MCA rules.

Interior Design and decor

According to the Sunreef philosophy, the interior design and layout arrangement have been totally submitted to the owner’s suggestions who wished to obtain a practical vessel with many storage places ensuring the highest level of navigation autonomy. For charter purposes, the yacht will accommodate up to 12 guests and 4 crew. Almost all the furniture is movable providing the possibility of changing the interiors to suit the needs and desires of the owner.

The interior style of the Sunreef 102 will combine a modern line with some classic elements of decoration. Two types of wood will be used in the design: dark WENGE wood and light ANEGRE. This blend of colours creates a strong dark/light contrast and highlights the geometric composition of the furniture. Trapezoid, square and cube forms are easily recognizable in the main outlines (furniture, wall shapes, windows, doors, etc.) and in many decoration details such us handles, lamps, table legs, etc. Wenge is mainly used for the floors, bookshelves, beds and decoration elements while Anegre was used to cover the walls, doors and wardrobe.

The original crème upholstery of Skai Elitis will guarantee the effect of chests board and will certainly be an interesting feature on board. Beside Wenge and Anegre woods, different types of skai will be applied on the walls and ceiling, all in beige, ivory and cream which will create the ambiance of harmony and balance of this carefully designed interiors. The IPHARRA comes as a stylish and elegant vessel not losing anything of her pragmatics.
