Dear Lindsay, You may have heard the recent Alberta Health and Wellness announcement of infrastructure funding to expand the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton and Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary. For those of us, like you, who are intent on making progress towards a cancer-free, future, this is good news. As the fundraising partner for the Alberta Health Services cancer centres across the province, the Alberta Cancer Foundation will be working closely with cancer leaders over the coming months to identify priority needs where donors can ensure even more is done. You, our generous donors, have already done so much to advance cancer research, prevention and care right here in Alberta.. As this important initiative moves ahead we will keep you informed and hope you will join us and build even more on this government commitment with your donor support. Together, we can build the healing environment patients need and provide the space and equipment our medical teams and researchers need to do their best work for Albertans. Kind regards, Linda Mickelson CEO, Alberta Cancer Foundation
